Welcome to Twitchill Farm Cottages in the Peak District, Derbyshire
Four charming self catering cottages. These stone built cottages are located around an 18th century farmhouse on Win Hill, with a panoramic view over the Hope Valley in the Peak District National Park and across to Castleton and its famous caverns and historic castle.
There is an indoor heated swimming pool next door to the main residence which is available for the use of guests and is open all year round.
Ash and Birch Cottages sleep up to eight people in each cottage, both have the same lay out, there is an open plan lounge on the ground floor, with a dining and kitchen area.
Ash Cottage, on the first floor there is a double bedroom and a twin room, plus a bathroom with WC, basin and bath with fitted shower and on the second floor there is another double room and a twin room with an airing cupboard.
Birch Cottage consists of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room and 1 double with single bed ( only really for a child) above it sleeping upto 9. Both cottages have a large decking area at the back then onto a lawned area.
Ash and Birch cottages are usually let as separate cottages, but a normally locked interconnecting door on the top floor between the bedrooms can be opened to link the two together to accommodate sixteen people in eight bedrooms.
Chestnut Cottage is a spacious two bedroom cottage.There large kitchen and dinning area on the ground floor leading into a lounge area. On the first floor there is a double and a twin room, a bathroom with shower, WC, hand basin and bath. Ideal for two or four people.
Elm Cottage is also a pretty two bedroom cottage with open plan lounge and kitchen area,with an extra bed-settee to accommodate another two if required, Sleeping from 2 to 6 people.This cottage has fabulous views down over the valley.
All the cottages offer a high level of comfort and there is also a shared utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier, additional freezer space. Boots, wellingtons and waterproofs can also be stored and dried in here if required.
This is an ideal base for all your needs - Reunions,birthday celebrations even hen or stag parties.
We also offer Massage,Spa and Beauty therapies through our associates who also visit the cottages at your request.
We can even arrange a celebratory evening meal in the comfort of your cottage.
All of our cottages are available all year round.
The house and cottages are located on the flank of Win Hill about a mile from the village of Hope. They are surrounded by fields and moorland, and all around there is superb walking country, but within easy reach of many tourist attractions, and with the city of Sheffield less than half an hour's drive away. There is a direct train service from Hope station to Sheffield and to Manchester.
The house and gardens of Chatsworth House are open from Easter.
There are several dedicated cycle trails, suitable for all ages and with bikes for hire.

There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the Hope Valley, to suit all tastes and budgets.
